Free software is simply software that respects our freedom — our freedom to learn and understand the software we are using. Free software is designed to free the user from restrictions put in place by proprietary software, and so using free software lets you join a global community of people who are making the political and ethical assertion of our rights to learn and to share what we learn with others.

Interesting read, it’s always helpful to see different opinions about operating systems and how technology is evolving. Chrome OS is a good example of how cloud-based systems are becoming more common, although they still have some limitations depending on usage. It also reminds me how students sometimes feel pressure during studies and search for quick help like can i pay someone to take my GED test, but in reality proper learning, practice, and guidance always work better in the long run.
